Located at 1000 Grand Avenue in West Des Moines, Chocolate Storybook has been making handmade chocolates and other creamy confections since 1985. And the best part is that owners Meg and Steve Shearer use only the finest ingredients available, including fresh cream, real butter, and 100% chocolate - no imitation compound coatings here - everything is made to the highest standards to ensure the ultimate in taste.
The variety of chocolate treats is amazing - truffles, dipped milk and dark chocolates, malted milk balls, foil wrapped hearts, turtles - believe me, you'll have a hard time choosing your Valentine's gift.
But if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind heart-shaped box of chocolates? Yep, they've got that.
