Friday Food Tour 7.20.12

Friday is upon us. THAT was a quick week. Actually, we just slammed past the middle of July! Summer is flying by. We'd better get a move on if we want to get all of those 'summer' activities in before it's October already. Sheesh. Anyhoo, some good stuff on board for this weeks' Food Tour.

I didn't even know about National Macaroni and Cheese day, but I'm sure glad Slaking Fool did. Check out his post on how he spent this cheesy day of recognition here. YUM.

Des Moines Foodster has been putting up some great posts on Des Moines Restaurants. Here's his take on an Urbandale favorite, the Urban Grill. We haven't been there for awhile, but it looks like it's time for a return visit.

It's always nice to have another view of a new restaurant, so I was happy to see this review of Louie's Wine Dive from Emily over at The Dish on Des Moines. Those photos make me hungry.
