Friday Food Tour  10.31.14

Happy Halloween! I hope you have some ghoulish fun planned for today. Grant is not a fan of Halloween, but I remember (in my much younger days) having a blast getting a costume together and heading out with friends to see if we could win any costume contests. Ahhh, the good old days. Anyway, we've got plenty of scary fun right here on the Friday Food Tour...

If Vietnamese food is your thing (and it seems to be everyone's thing!), looks like Cityview's Food Dude has a place we all need to visit. Check out his write-up here

The weather turning colder is the perfect time to ramp up the pasta dinners, right? I loved this recipe from Rockin' the Kitchen for Super Easy Weeknight Pasta - give it a try!

Slaking Fool never fails in delivering the most unique posts in food blogging - check out his look back on Zombie Burger's KISS Week specials! Those fries look amazing.

If you haven't yet made plans for the weekend of November 7-8, you might want to put Iowa's Premier Beer, Wine & Food Expo on your calendar. We will be out of town, but if not, this is where you'd find us! Cooking demos, gourmet dinners, food & wine samples, this show has it all. Better get a ticket.

And finally - admit it, you get a kick out of those 'Most Interesting Man in the World' commercials from Dos Equis, don't you? How would you like the chance to actually MEET the MAN?! Drinking in America has the details on a sweepstakes you don't want to miss.

Have a safe and fun Halloween weekend!
